Born and raised in Hokkaido, Japan, kf13 has had a  career as a public servant, but by 2021 kf13 was no longer satisfied with his career and decided to become a musician. 

He began to produce artwork, working primarily on beat and ambient pieces. 

Influenced by Japanese songs, kf13 creates equally nostalgic landscapes. At the heart of his world, however, is an awe of nature and a powerful sense of taking life seriously. Various tones flow back in time and breathe life into the music. It reminds him of the mysterious nature along with nostalgia. 

Above all, scenes from his childhood are the source of inspiration for his work. When he opens the door of the synthesizer, the woven world takes on a nostalgic air. 

It is natural to want to explore the unknown, just as the unfamiliar is more appealing than the familiar in everyday life. 

The music of kf13 is a ferryboat to the world of imagination and longing for something precious. Its imagination holds a wonderful story waiting for those who listen to it.
